Dear University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus faculty, staff, and students,
As you may be aware, there has been a steady increase in H1N1 and influenza-like illnesses statewide. The impact of H1N1 has been relatively mild so far on campus. The situation could, however, change rapidly.
Stay informed! Read all H1N1 email messages and visit the H1N1 Web site, which now has a “Frequently Asked Questions” section. You can subscribe to the site.
It is extremely important that you continue to practice prevention measures and stay home if you become ill.
Boynton Health Service will send you email updates about the future availability of both the seasonal influenza and H1N1 vaccines for administering at their flu clinics in the coming weeks.
Sincerely,
Kathryn Brown, Vice President and Chief of Staff, Office of the President; and Officer of the Day
John Finnegan, Assistant Vice President for Public Health and Dean of the School of Public Health |
