PROPERTY THEFT is the single largest occurring crime on campus. Stolen items are often never returned to the owner, and most thieves are not arrested. However, a big difference can be made in the apprehension of criminals and return of property if victims know the serial number of the items that get stolen.

Students, staff, faculty and other members of the University of Minnesota can now record their valuable property information in their Electronic Portfolio accounts. This offers an easy, convenient way to keep track of your property in a way that you will never have to worry about misplacing.

Better yet, you can initiate a police report directly from your Electronic Portfolio simply by selecting a few buttons and sending a report off to a police investigator!
