On Friday, November 9, 2007 at 4:30 p.m., the parking lot attendant booth located at Lot 94, 2115 5th Street South, West Bank, was robbed by a lone male.

The attendant on duty was not injured during the robbery, but a knife was displayed. An undisclosed amount of cash from daily receipts was taken and placed in a plastic baggy. After the robbery, the suspect fled eastbound on 5th Street South towards the Fairview-Riverside Hospital parking ramp.

The victim described the suspect as follows:

A black male, approximately 28-32 years old, approximately 5'11" – 6'01" tall with a medium build. The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black knit cap, dark blue gloves, and blue jeans. The male had corn-rows or dread-locks showing below the cap.

Be mindful, racial descriptors alone are not a valid reason to profile or cast suspicion on an individual. In cases of serious crime such as this we may include them only as part of the totality of circumstances, if it may reasonably assist in the identification of the perpetrators.
