Housing Workshop

Parent-offcampushouses

About this workshop

Renting a first apartment is a big step for students. As they face the legal, personal, and academic implications of living on their own, the University would like them to consider all the critical aspects and make their decision based on educated choices. Parents can help their students think about the steps required to carefully consider what to look for in roommates, in an apartment, in signing legal documents, and in becoming a responsible community member.
