Extreme makeover: major edition
The holidays and semester break can be stressful for students who don't quite know how to answer the question, "So what are you majoring in?" Students who are undeclared or thinking about changing majors can participate in a day-long workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, January 17, in 330 Science Teaching and Student Services building (STSS), sponsored by the Center for Academic Planning & Exploration (CAPE).
Students will explore their interests and strengths in new ways and learn how they tie into different majors at the U.
The cost for the event is $15 per student, which includes lunch, the Strong Interest Inventory, a StrengthsQuest assessment, and event materials. Students can register at z.umn.edu/majormakeover.
