The Office of Information Technology (OIT) offers a new initiative called UTools. We strive to provide the University community with the lowest priced software options possible.
The first phase is to expand our current software license program and recommend an evolving Delicious-based list of free or low cost open-source and shareware tools.
We work closely with University faculty, staff, and students to research new UTools options, interests, costs, and distribution methods so they can leverage technology in support of the University's mission and goals.
Statewide ESRI Software Contract Announced
We have partnered with MnSCU to offer a statewide contract for ArcInfo and ArcView. Get details about the contract and ordering information.

Norton AntiVirus for Mac
Norton AntiVirus 10.2 for Mac is now available on the Antivirus and Firewall Software page. Norton AntiVirus 11.0 for Mac is a consumer retail version only, and is not available through the this program.
