Stress-reducing Strategies for UPlan Members

University employees and their spouses/same-sex domestic partners who are covered by the UPlan Medical Program can be financially rewarded for participating in stress reduction, exercise, and health improvement programs.

When you complete the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program, (MBSR) offered through the Center for Spirituality and Healing, you may qualify to be reimbursed for a portion of the cost of the eight-week course in which you learn to meditate.

Earn wellness points toward a $300 or $400 reduction in your 2014 UPlan Medical Program premiums when you or your spouse/partner participate in one or more of the following activities included in the Wellness Points Bank. The offerings listed in the chart below can help you manage stress.
