The Step It Up! program from StayWell Online is a fun way to increase your daily physical activity. Available in April 2012, the program offers a participant a free, state-of-art pedometer and an online method to track one's activity. The goal is to work toward logging 10,000 steps (or a calorie-burning equivalent amount of movement and activity) within a single day.
In 2012, the Step It Up! program will replace the 10,000 Steps® program from HealthPartners. You and your spouse/same-sex domestic partner can earn a $65 wellness reward when you complete Step It Up! This is provided you have not earned a second $65 wellness reward by completing another and different activity included in the Wellness Program offerings.
New in 2012: As a UPlan Medical Program member, when you complete the Step It Up! walking program no later than August 31, 2012, you (and your spouse/same-sex domestic partner if also covered by the UPlan) can accumulate 50 points for your Wellness Points Bank.
