Pop-Up Blockers: Disabling
Pop-Up Blockers: Disabling
Pop-up blockers must be disabled for ULearn to function properly. To allow pop-up windows in ULearn, follow the instructions below.
Internet Explorer
From the Tools drop-down menu, select Pop-up Blocker. (If this is not listed, a third-party pop-up blocker is installed.)
Click <Pop-up Blocker Settings>.
In the Pop-up Blocker Settings window, type “umn.csod.com” (without quotation marks) then click <Add>.
Click <Close>.
Close all Internet Explorer windows to complete the change. Pop-up windows for ULearn will be allowed when you re-open Internet Explorer.
Firefox (Windows)
At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button and then select Options (this is sometimes found under the Tools menu).
Select the Content panel.
Click <Exceptions> to open a new dialog box.
Type “umn.csod.com” (without quotation marks) in the Address of websites field.
Click <Allow>.
Click <Close> to return to Content/Options panel.
Click <OK> to close Content/Options panel.
Safari
In the Safari drop-down menu, verify that “Block Pop-Up Windows” is unchecked.
If a check mark appears next to “Block Pop-Up Windows,” click to uncheck it.
The example below indicates pop-up windows are not blocked.
