The Office of Human Resources and College of Continuing Education are partnering with PDI Ninth House to offer the Successful Manager's Leadership Program.
Through extensive research on thousands of managers, the key skills and behaviors contributing to the success of today's managers and leaders have been identified. This intensive, five-day program addresses managers' needs for developing their roles as leaders, and providing participants with the skills, behaviors, and tools for success. Individuals attending this program receive feedback from a 360-degree multi-rater feedback assessment (PROFILOR). Through lectures, exercises, case studies, and peer feedback, managers develop new strategies and action plans to improve their performance and have greater impact on organizational effectiveness.
The Successful Manager's Leadership Program develops leadership excellence in four key areas:
Spring 2015: May 5 & 6, June 9, 10 & 11, 2015
$1,850 - Spring 2015
The cost includes 5 days of instruction, 360° assessment, Successful Manager's Handbook, computer-based worksheets, luncheons, and refreshment breaks. The cost of the program to attendees from outside the U of M is $3,250, but University employees will only be charged the rate quoted above.
Late registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Registrations that are canceled within 21 work days are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Registrants who fail to attend or who cancel within 10 work days of the start of the program are responsible for the entire fee.
