Appendix E: Applicant Status Requirements

Civil Service/Bargaining Unit and Student Positions| Faculty/Academic Professional and Administrative Positions

The information provided explains changing the status of an applicant on a job requisition for which you have recently completed recruiting. OHR must complete information on what happened for each applicant, even if you cancel the position. Because this information will be used for government and management reporting, it must be completed before you designate your position as filled or cancelled. Remember, too, that questions or charges by the Department of Labor, Department of Human Rights, or other agencies may be directed to you, so it is important to have the status of each applicant accurately documented. If you have questions regarding the completion of this report, please contact your Office of Human Resources Employment Representative.

Please note: You can not designate your position as filled or cancelled until the status for each applicant has been properly changed.
