Individual colleges or administrative units may have additional steps in the academic search process beyond those described here. Consult with your college or administrative unit's HR Professional for additional procedures.
In accordance with your college or administrative unit procedures, you will route the completed requisition within your unit to secure all appropriate approvals prior to posting and advertising the position.
If posting is done centrally through the Office of Human Resources, the requisition must be submitted to the employment team once all unit approvals are given.

Conduct your search as required by the policy Recruitment and Selection of Faculty and Academic Professional and Administrative Employees and any college or administrative unit procedures that may be in place.
Postings are removed from the Web when a job close date is entered at the time of creating a requisition. If a job close date is entered, the posting will be removed from the Web and moved to an "On Hold" status on that date until notification is received that the position has been filled or cancelled.
