Flextime is the most requested, easiest to manage and most affordable type of FWA. Flextime offers flexibility in arrival, departure and/or lunch times, typically with a designated core time during the day which all staff are present. Flextime does not alter the total number of hours worked in a week. Employees can propose an arrival and departure time, for a total of eight hours of work per day. For example:
