Small groups of randomly selected P&A employees were asked to participate in discussion groups as part of the P&A Classification Study. The information gathered from these meetings was crucial in analyzing the strengths and limitations of the P&A classification and compensation systems and working to develop recommended models and philosophies.
In all, approximately 200 employees were randomly selected from a pool of all P&A employees to participate in one of the P&A discussion groups. These groups took place on each of the University of Minnesota campuses in late October and early November 2006.
