  • 1: Hit it
  • 2: I think it's B
  • 3: Gravity
  • 2: Peri….?
  • 1: No it's not gravity
  • 3: Valves!?
  • 2: No
  • 2: It's…
  • 1: No, peristalsis is A
  • 2: Yeah, I would say that's right
  • 1: Yeah peristalsis
  • 3: Peristalsis, yeah that sounds good.
  • 1: Do you know what the small intestine does by chance?
  • 2: Hey what did you get for 5?
  • 3: Small intestine?
  • 4: I haven't got 5 yet
  • 3: No, like we that test
  • 2: No, like for the group
  • 1: Right
  • 2: When you did the first part
  • 4: Oh… I don't remember
  • 3: Oh
  • 2: I think it's C, but I..
  • 1: Why is she even in our group?
  • 2: I don't even know
  • 3: Yeah I think I had C too
  • 2: Lets just go with C
  • 1: Yeah

Scene 2 - Functioning Group

  • 1: Food moves through both the trachea and the esophagus on the way to the stomach?
  • 2: Um, no!
  • 3: That's gotta be false cause isn't that when you cough
  • 4:Yeah
  • 2: Yeah
  • 2: It goes through the trachea
  • 1: The wrong pipe
  • 4: Yeah
  • 2: Yeah, exactly the wrong pipe
  • 2: Ah, 17 is true
  • 1: Why what's 17, what's that say?
  • 3: B and t cells are specific types of leucocytes
  • 2: Oh yeah
  • 3: Is that true?
  • 2: Yeah B
  • 3: Yeah I think so
  • 4: I think I put true on my test
  • 3: Yeah?
  • 2: Yeah okay, cause leucocytes are b and t
  • 3: I don't think I got that one right
  • 2: Oh that's too bad
  • 2: That's an easy one
  • 1: C'mon man
  • 2: Alright

Scene 3 - Discussing Answers

  • 1: Okay number 1
  • 4: Alright so number 1, which of the following lists the correct order of the large colon?
  • 2: What's A?
  • 4: A is transverse, ascending, descending and sigmoid.
  • 3: I think transverse makes it
  • 2: Yeah
  • 3: The wrong answer right away
  • 1: Yeah okay
  • 2: So B
  • 4: B is descending and then ascending
  • 2: Um
  • 3: Um, no
  • 3: I think it's d
  • 3: Yeah
  • 2: Right
  • 4: C is ascending, transverse, descending, sigmoid and then rectum.
  • 3: Yeah
  • 1: Yeah and the last one is colon, so it has to end in the rectum.
  • 2: Right
  • 4: Right, okay so we decided c then
  • 2 : Okay 1 c, okay I got it
  • 3: Okay
  • 4: Number 2 then

Scene 4 - Assigning Roles

  • 1: And I have a pencil so I can do, ah, I can record. What do you want to do?
  • 3: I'll just make sure we stay on track
  • 1: Okay
  • 3: So we can finish on time
  • 2: Alright what's number 1
  • 4: Um, number 1, which of the following lists the correct order of the large colon, so after the succumb
  • 4: Alright so a is transverse and then going into ascending, descending, sigmoid and then going to rectum.
  • 3: No
  • 2: Nope
  • 3: I think that's wrong
  • 1: So we can cross that off, you can cross a off
  • 4: Okay so not a
  • 4: Alright, what about b: descending, ascending, transverse, sigmoid and rectum?
  • 2: No, we're not on a rollercoaster!
  • 1: Nah
  • 3: Okay mark that off
  • 4: K, alright: ascending, transverse, descending, sigmoid, rectum.
  • 1: Yeah, cause…
  • 2: Yes, ascending first!
  • 4: That sounds good, so what about d
  • 4: Yeah lets look at d
  • 2: It starts with the rectum, I doubt it
  • 4: Yeah I would agree
  • 2: So go ahead
  • 3: So c, got it
  • 2: Yeah, c
  • 4: C sounds good
  • 3: Now lets move on to 2
  • 4: Okay

Scene 5 - Debrief

  • 1: Alright so we decided 30 is c right?
  • 3: Right
  • 1: 30 c? alright that's the last one then
  • 3: Wait I think…
  • 3: Lets go back to…
  • 1: 12
  • 2: 12?
  • 1: Yeah 12, I was confused on
  • 3: That's the one we had a question on
  • 2: Okay
  • 3: So what do you guys think b?
  • 3: Is b the right answer?
  • 1: What was b again?
  • 4: In combination with hemoglobin…
  • 1: Yeah, yeah b
  • 2: Alright, do it
  • 1: 12 is b
  • 2: YES!! We are done!
  • 3: Finally alright
  • 2: Unfortunately I didn't really study for this one at all and I got screwed up a couple of things
  • 1: Yeah I looked over this stuff for a while and it wasn't too bad
  • 3: Yeah I kinda did a little studying
  • 3: What about you
  • 4: Yeah, this weeks wasn't as bad as last weeks
  • 2: Yeah last weeks…
  • 4: But next week I have a huge test
  • 2: It says on the back, you guys that the exam is Monday do you want to work like Wed.
  • 1: Yeah, we should get together
  • 4: We should do a study group
  • 3: Yeah, we should
  • 1: Yeah, cause I don't have time this weekend

  • 2: Yeah thanks for nothing
  • 2: Maybe you should have studied a little bit, because I worked my butt off on this and we barely got through and you just sit there like….
  • 1: Yeah 12, 12 was like the only one you spoke about and you were wrong
  • 3: And you did this last week too so….
  • 2: Yeah I'm totally kidding and I'm not trying to be mean, just study more
  • 2: I mean like, it's cool, we'll do but, I'm just like especially if we're going to have a midterm, you should at least get to know it a little bit. Like we'll help if you want.
  • 2: We're here for you Adrian
  • 4: Right, well,
  • 2: Yeah
  • 4: I took a lot of credits this semester so,
  • 1: Yeah
  • 4: I just trying to get through so, but thanks for the advice and yeah we should get together
  • 2: Definitely
  • 4: for study groups cause then we can have set times to study for stuff
  • 1: Yeah
  • 4: Lets do that
  • 3: If you need help, we can all help.
  • 4: Alright, sounds good

  • 1: Yeah, good job, you guys!

  • 1: What'd you put that?
  • 2: I, I …
  • 1: Is that true?
  • 4: I put false, on my
  • 2: It is false?
  • 4: On my individual test
  • Pause….
  • 3: I think your right…I think it is false
  • 2: No I put true on that
  • 3: Dang it!
  • 1: So did I
  • 3: I can't believe I missed that it was such a simple question
  • 2: Yeah you gotta remember that
  • 1: That's totally going to be on the…
  • 4: That's going to be on the exam on Monday
  • 1: Yeah for sure he always asks questions like that
  • 2: Alright
  • 4: So right it down after you leave
  • 1: So that was false then
  • 2: Yeah, it was b
  • 2: Okay so 15 we decided b
  • 4: Yeah
  • 2: : Yep
  • 3: Because I know I got that one wrong for sure, ha!
  • 2: Oh, that's bad
  • 1: Whatever, it's just 1 quiz, it's not that big of a deal, you'll do fine
  • 3: Okay 16
  • 1: Yeah, what's 16?
  • 2: Food moves through both the trachea and the esophagus on the way to the stomach.
