• University of Nebraska–Lincoln Peer Review of Teaching. The section on peer consultation contains specific prompts for useful conversations that colleagues can have based on their syllabi and other teaching materials.
• Peer Review of Teaching: A Sourcebook by Nancy Van Note Chism. Ordering information and the table of contents for an outstanding book that will make the process of creating a system of peer review much easier. It contains very specific forms that can be reproduced and used in your department.
• UNC Intercampus Dialogue on Peer Review of Teaching (pdf). Contains information on how to implement a peer review process and legal issues to consider.
• Ohio State University Senate Policy on Peer Review of Teaching. This report from the faculty senate at Ohio State contains a good summary of best practices and the national conversation as well as outlining specific protocols for Ohio State.
• Opening Doors: Two Cases of Formative Assessment of Teaching is a video tape produced by the Collaboration of the Advancement of College Teaching and Learning. It contains two dramatic cases designed to spark discussion about ways to help faculty assess and improve teaching.
