There are a number of reasons that you may want to document your teaching each semester. Whether you are creating a job search portfolio, collecting documentation for tenure or promotion, or using the portfolio as a way to reflect on and learn from your experience, the following three sites contain valuable information about what to collect as well as how to organize and present evidence of student learning in your classroom.

The Teaching Portfolio: A Guidebook is published by the Center for Teaching Effectiveness at the University of Texas at Austin and provides a detailed step by step guide to the process of preparing a teaching portfolio.
