Critical Thinking Source

This site is for those of you who are interested in helping your students become better critical thinkers and want an accessible directory of information about teaching critical thinking. Jenzi Silverman piloted a "live" version of this material as a supplement to the workshop "Promoting Critical Thinking in Your Classes," part of the Center for Teaching & Learning Services Teaching Enrichment series.

For each reference in the annotated bibliography, Jenzi has written a brief abstract highlighting what she believes are its most salient points. The criteria she uses for including sources in the bibliography are that they are interesting and unique in their approach to teaching critical thinking, accessible in terms of their language and location, and applicable to a broad range of disciplines.
