As Assistant Education Specialist, I work with international teaching assistants, providing them with training and consultations in English for academic purposes and teaching methods. I also conduct classroom observations and discuss ITAs' performance and teaching strategies on a one-to-one basis. Having taught English to speakers of other languages in a number of European countries and in the Unites States, I have developed an eclectic approach to teaching; my goal is to help my students learn teaching practices that will help them be successful teachers at the University of Minnesota and wherever they will work in the future.
