Teaching Interests

As a graduate student I have assisted in teaching in variety of subjects - urban planning, public policy, field research methods, and mathematics. My interdisciplinary academic background has provided me various experiences of teaching in different types of environments and students demographic. I am interested in Learning and Teaching methods in multi-cultural environment.

Current Projects

I am currently working on formative and summative evaluation of Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship (IGERT) Graduate Training in Risk Analysis for Introduced Species and Genotypes program at University of Minnesota. IGERT is the National Science Foundation's interdisciplinary training program to educate Ph.D. students to conduct research to improve Ecological Risk Analysis and contribute workable solutions to policy questions and problems affecting management of introduced species and genotypes. In addition, I work on various other evaluation projects dealing with various programs at Center for Teaching and Learning.

Research Interests

My interdisciplinary academic background contributes to my interest in various aspect of program monitor & evaluation in the fields of education, environmental and natural resources, and urban planning. In these various fields of study I am especially interested in studying methods of including stakeholders in project/program evaluation process.
