I am an Associate Education Specialist in the International Teaching Assistant Program. Currently, I teach the GRAD 5105 course, Practicum in University Teaching for Nonnative English Speakers. I am qualified to administer and interpret the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and am interested in its application to the ITA program as well as the campus community. In addition, I am the technology coordinator for the ITA program. My professional interests include the use of technology in language teaching and issues related to cross-cultural communication in the classroom. I am also the Chair-Elect of the International Teaching Assistant Interest Section for TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages).

My previous teaching experience includes teaching in several intensive English programs as well as two years of teaching English in a Japanese high school.
