Education

  • B.A. Wesleyan University, American Studies
  • M.A. University of Michigan, American Culture
  • Ph.D. University of Michigan, American Culture

I came to the University of Minnesota from the University of Michigan's Program in American Culture. As a graduate student there, I taught in a variety of fields, including literature, history, film, and American Culture. I also worked for four years at the Center for Research on Learning and Teaching (CRLT), where I did a variety of consultations, workshops and trainings.

My primary role at CTL is teaching in the Preparing Future Faculty Program, though I also do teaching consultations and facilitate workshops.
