These additional resources will provide participants in the Core Supervisory Skills Training with an opportunity to further their learning outside of class.
Core supervisory skills training is designed to help new and experienced supervisors review the basic skills needed for effective supervision. The program is highly interactive, with many opportunities for hands-on learning and group discussion. Participants are expected to register for the full series. *
Sessions are facilitated by Human Resources experts from the University of Minnesota community.

The Supervisory Core is offered in two formats:
Both the six-week and three-day formats cover the same material.
* Core participants need to complete 60 minutes of pre-work to help strengthen their understanding of the materials covered. This pre-work is sent out via email 2 weeks before training starts.
The 6-week series meets at 210 Donhowe from 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on the following dates:
