You must be a University of Minnesota student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program to hold a student job. There are two components to determining eligibility to hold a student job:
All students are eligible for campus jobs provided they meet the minimum credit requirements listed below.

*If you worked on campus during spring semester and intend to register for fall semester, you do not need to register for summer to hold a student job.
Depending on your student and registration status, you may not be eligible to work before or after certain dates.
If you were not enrolled with the minimum number of credits in the previous term, but you do have credits for the current term, the first date you can begin working is shown in the "Employment Begin Dates" column.
If you are not enrolled with the minimum number of credits for the upcoming term, your employment must end by the date shown in the "Termination Dates" column.
If you worked on campus during spring semester and intend to register for fall semester, you do not need to register for summer to hold a student job.

Fall 2014 graduates

The first day a student not registered for fall 2014 can work (provided the student has sufficient credits for spring 2015).
Spring 2015 graduates
If a student does not register for sufficient spring WS credits, half of the original WS award will be withdrawn.
Spring WS use ends 5/17/15.
