Section 1. Reporting Time Compensation.

Any employee who is scheduled to report for work for a scheduled work shift of at least four (4) hours and who presents himself/herself as scheduled, shall be entitled to at least four (4) hours of work or four (4) hours pay at his/her regular straight time hourly pay rate or overtime, whichever is applicable. Any employee who is scheduled to report for work for a scheduled shift of less than four (4) hours and who presents himself/herself as scheduled, shall be entitled to at least the scheduled hours of work or pay for the scheduled hours at his/her regular straight time hourly pay rate or overtime, whichever is applicable. Should an employee be excused from work due to illness or at his/her own request he/she shall receive pay only for hours actually worked, plus compensation for any hours charged to sick leave, vacation, or compensatory time off.
