MOU - Salary Rates - Augmentations

Effective on the signing date of this memorandum, the Employer and Union agree that salary rates for individual Unit 3 classifications may be augmented whenever:

1. an augmentation is necessary to maintain competitive salaries in a geographic area, and
2. both parties agree to the effective date and amount of the augmentation.

Augmentations would continue only so long as the external market problem persists.
