HRMS - ChartField Strings Added to Pages with Combo Codes

HRMS ACES and Key Contacts,
Users with access to any pages that show combo code (Earnings Distribution, Pay Entry and Display Pay Entry, Additional Pay and Historical Salary Adjustments) will now notice that ChartField Strings are now enterable or viewable on those pages. A job aid detailing the changes and informing users on how to take advantage of the new functionality can be found on the Training Services website at:
http://www1.umn.edu/ohr/trainingservices/hrms/index.htmlHere’s a couple of tips: While the ChartField String will populate automatically when entering and then tabbing out of the Combo Code field, you need to hit the Retrieve Combo Code button to fill in the Combo Code field after entering your ChartField String. Also, the complete ChartField String must be entered in order for the correct results to appear. If any of the 9 ChartField values exist, but are not entered a Combo Code will return, but it may not be the correct one. In other words the system is looking for a complete match between Combo Code and ChartField String.
