Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2012 Pulse Survey. This biennial employee satisfaction survey is commissioned by the University's central administration and conducted in partnership with the Human Resources Research Institute in the Carlson School of Management. The goal is to measure faculty and staff satisfaction with the University of Minnesota as an employer and use the data to continuously improve the employee experience.

The 2012 survey was the fifth administration of the biennial survey designed to better understand the work experiences of all employees. The survey results provide opportunities to inform decision making, assess alignment with the University's mission and priorities, gauge how we are progressing, and appreciate employee perspectives. The survey was open to employees from April 23 – May 18. For additional information, refer to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).

Survey results will be reported University-wide as well as at the campus, collegiate, and major administrative unit level as soon as they are available. Leaders will be supported in understanding unit results, identifying areas of opportunity, and exploring University resources to help make improvements.
