On Monday, October 15, AFSCME Health Care Unit 4 members ratified a 2007-09 labor contract between the union and the University. We are extremely pleased to have reached mutual agreement on what we believe to be a fair and equitable contract that includes both across-the-board pay and step increases. This agreement is comparable to agreements reached with other employee groups and consistent with our principles of equitable treatment and fair compensation for all employees.
Following are highlights of the contract:
