Compensation is a broad topic that includes many components, such as how pay is determined, the process by which pay changes are made and how jobs are evaluated. You’ll also find job classification descriptions, information on annual wage increases and find resources to help interpret your W-2 and help with other tax related questions.

The Civil Service Working Group and the P&A Working Group have released a joint report and appendix with recommendations for improving the University's classification and compensation systems. The report is the product of months of research by the working groups, which include representatives from the Civil Service Committee, Council of Academic and Professional Administrators (CAPA), and local and central HR staff.

University employees who were actively employed and receiving benefits at the end of the 2007 calendar year can view a total compensation statement. The statement calculates the overall value of the retirement, health care, tuition, and the other benefits that you received.
