Retirement

Retirement Incentive Option

The RIO is a one-time opportunity for voluntary retirement for eligible employees. RIO will provide 36 months of medical and dental subsidy following an employee's last day of employment. Informational sessions will be held weekly during the eligibility period.

Help with Retirement Planning

The retirement process is different for each individual. The Employee Benefits Service Center has counselors available to help you with your retirement planning. You'll want to schedule an appointment six to twelve months before you plan to retire.

Internet ID and Password

Your Internet ID and password will remain active after you leave the University. This will allow you continued access to:

  • Your payroll information (for taxes or business transactions)
  • Your personal information (for e-mail forwarding, changing mailing address, etc.)
