All of the dental plans provide comprehensive coverage for most conditions requiring dental diagnosis and treatment. They also cover a broad range of preventive services such as regular exams, X-rays, and teeth cleanings.
There are some differences in the coverage of specific services and in your out-of-pocket costs. You should carefully review the benefits provided by the plans available in your area to help you determine which plan best meets your needs.
You pay the full cost of the premiums; the University does not contribute to insurance coverage for retirees. You will be billed directly by the plan option that you choose.
