If you and your spouse/same-sex domestic partner participated in the 2012 Wellness Points Bank initiative and achieved the required number of points to earn a $300 or $400 reduction in the cost of your annual UPlan Medical Program rates, you will save in every pay statement in 2013.
The University of Minnesota pays 87 percent of the cost of employee-only coverage and 80.5 percent of the cost of your family coverage level for the base plan for your geographic zone. The base plan offers the lowest copayments and the lowest rate for family coverage.
- Work 75% to 100% time, you pay the "Employee" amount per pay period.
- Work 50% to 74% time, you pay "Total" amount per pay period.
