2015 Medical Plan - UPlan Wellness Achievement Rates

If you and your spouse earned the required number of wellness program points to earn a $300 or $400 reduction in the cost of your annual UPlan Medical Program rates, you will save in every pay statement in 2015.

The University of Minnesota pays 87 percent of the cost of Employee-only coverage and 80.5 percent of the cost of your Employee and Children or Employee and Spouse with or without Children coverage level for the base plan for your geographic zone. You have low biweekly rates and reasonable out-of-pocket costs with the base plan.

  • Work 75% to 100% time, you pay the "Employee" amount per pay period.
  • Work 50% to 74% time, you pay "Total" amount per pay period.
