Injury, illness, or pregnancy can leave you unable to work. The University provides a variety of programs that may allow you to continue your benefit coverage, and all or part of your salary, while you are unable to work. Some of these programs offer salary replacement.

Call Employee Benefits as soon as you know you'll be on leave. Because every person's medical leave is different, and some very complex, Employee Benefits will assign a counselor to your case. Your counselor will follow your case, give you required forms to complete, and guide you as you plan the phases of your leave.
