Departmental InformationMission StatementThe mission of NTS is to effectively deliver quality communication services to University of Minnesota students, staff, and faculty. NTS designs, procures, installs, operates, and maintains communication networks and services within the Twin Cities campus and between this campus and those in Crookston, Duluth, Morris, and Rochester. The primary role of NTS is to provide these services in a reliable manner and at a high level of quality that meets or exceeds our customer's expectations. NTS also provides leadership and an innovative vision in utilizing cutting edge technology to deliver new modes of communication or enhance existing modes, working collaboratively with colleges, departments, support units, and central administration to implement that vision.
