U of M expert available to comment on U.S. Supreme Court ruling in the FCC vs. FOX indecency case

The U.S. Supreme Court today announced its ruling on the broadcast indecency case FCC vs. FOX. The ruling threw out fines against FOX and other broadcasters by the Federal Communications Commission for fleeting expletives or nudity on television. A University of Minnesota expert who can provide insight on this decision is:
Amy Kristin Sanders, professor, School of Journalism and Mass Communications, College of Liberal Arts and affiliate faculty member of the University of Minnesota School of Law
Sanders is an award-winning journalist and licensed attorney. Her research focuses on the intersection of law and new technology. Sanders is currently undertaking a historical examination of the Federal Communications Commission's regulation of broadcast indecency. In addition, she researches telecommunication regulation, online defamation and media ownership issues.
