Minnesota tourism industry maintaining amidst recession

Since Minnesota is a more affordable drive destination, the state could benefit when folks don't fly to Florida but maybe explore their own backyards, says Schneider. From the North Shore to eagle watching in the south, there are also a variety of world class destinations within the state. For those considering taking time off, Schneider has some comforting advice. The reality is that vacations are beneficial for our health as they reduce stress, provide an opportunity to restore and re-create ourselves and build resilience for the challenges ahead.
