Using your U of MN World Wide Web URL as your Netfiles URL

The University provides two URLs which you can direct to any location you want. These URLs are:

• http://umn.edu/home/{InternetID}
• http://umn.edu/~{InternetID}

Where {InternetID} is your Internet ID.
To set this:

1. Go to http://www.umn.edu/validate
2. Log in with your Internet ID and password.
3. Click on the link for "World Wide Web URL"
4. Set the URL to your Netfiles space, http://netfiles.umn.edu/users/{InternetID}/www
