Moodle has 4 types of assignments:

Upload a single file (live example)
You will be able to submit only one file (or you may zip several files first)

  • Go to the assignment area
  • Click Browse, in the new window locate the file on your computer
  • Click Open/Choose
  • Click Upload this file button

Advanced uploading of files (live example)
You will be able to submit up to 20 separate files and leave notes to the instructor. You may be able to delete previous files before the deadline. Once you are ready for the assignment to be evaluated, you will be able to send it for final review.

  • Go to the assignment area
  • Click Browse, in the new window locate the file on your computer
  • Click Open/Choose
  • Click Upload this file button
  • Click Edit button to add notes to the instructor
  • Click Send for marking button, once an assignment is ready for final evaluation

Online text (live example)
You will be able to enter the assignment online using the default text editor.

  • Go to the assignment area
  • Click Edit my submission
  • Type or copy/paste your entry via the form provided
  • Click Save changes

Offline activity (live example)
This assignment assumes the assessed activity happens offline or online, outside of Moodle interface. You will not be able to submit anything here, but you will be able to check your grades.
