OIT provides free Moodle training courses for course instructors/designers.

- Orientation - Review schedule/Enroll
- seminar format (not a hands-on course), instructor-led; 1 hour
- This course will provide broad overview of an online course management system for course instructors and site designers

- hands-on, instructor-led; 3.5 hours
- Participants will learn how to build a basic site containing course content (syllabus, ppt, word documents, links) and collaborative activities (forums and glossaries)
- Assignments and Quizzes - Review schedule/Enroll; Download workbook (pdf)
- hands-on, instructor-led; 3.5 hours
- Participants will learn how to create and modify Quizzes; work with different question types; review, reset, and reply to submission attempts; and grade the different types of quiz questions. Participants will also learn how to create different types of Assignments.

- hands-on, instructor-led; 3 hours
- Participants will learn how to set up and manage a gradebook, enter and change grades for various activities, and use scales for providing non-numeric qualitative feedback.

- hands-on, instructor-led; 3.5 hours
- Participants will review, create, and manage group activities, use the Choice tool to create simple polls, use the Database tool to build publicly searchable collections of user entries, and add Wikis for collaborative authoring of web pages.
