| Layout and navigation |
back to index |
Each course homepage generally has a three-column layout, visually organized with blocks on the left and right sides and with the center column containing the course content.
Course Content will appear in the middle section, broken down into sub-sections: Weeks or Topics. Every Week/Topic might have some content and matching activities, like discussion forums, quizzes or assignments. |
 |
The right and left columns of the course homepage will have blocks with additional tools and features, such as calendar block, course administration, my courses, etc. Block placement is individual for every site, except the Administration block, which will always appear in the upper left corner, and will allow you to check Grades and unenroll from some of the open sites.
The Top of the Course Homepage will have links to the myU portal, the UofM homepage, your name with a logout option, the course title and breadcrumbs for navigation.
