MILL RUINS PARK: WEEK 6

Excavations resumed mid-week to remove the remainder of 1960's fill from the tailrace canals,
base of mill walls, and trestle foundations.

Trestle cross-bracing and foundations as well as ash deposits were discovered
at the rear of the Minneapolis Flour Mill.

The tail race tunnel and catwalk under the Excelsior Mill was opened and found
to be in a good state of preservation.
