Poster Registration

Thank you for registering your poster for the E3 2009 conference, taking place Nov. 17 at the Saint Paul RiverCentre.

If you have any questions, contact Stephanie Szurek, events coordinator, or call 612-626-1202.

Please read the following information carefully and complete this form using easy-to-understand terminology for your poster abstract.

REQUIREMENTS

All IREE-funded projects are required to have a poster at the E3 conference. Up to two posters will be allowed per project. Each poster MUST be registered using this online system, as we will be using the information collected here to map out the floor plan and prepare a summary of poster abstracts (200 words max) for conference attendees.

Poster dimensions can be up to 36 inches wide by 42 inches high (portrait/vertical orientation). Boards will be provided at the conference and the on-site staff will have pins available to fasten the posters.

PRINTING

IREE will pay for the printing of the posters if done at the College of Biological Sciences Imaging Center on the St. Paul campus. Posters must be submitted to the Imaging Center by 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 10.

It is each POSTER PRESENTER’S RESPONSIBILITY to pick up posters from the Imaging Center in advance of the conference. IREE will NOT pick up and transport posters to the conference venue.

A PowerPoint or PDF file may be sent directly to the Imaging Center using this form.

For a primer on creating your poster, visit the Imaging Center’s site and look under Poster Printing in the left-hand menu.

CONFERENCE DAY

Please bring your poster and any additional handouts for your display to the Saint Paul RiverCentre. Once again this year we will be providing a complimentary shuttle bus from the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses to the convention center (more details coming soon).

Posters will need to be pinned on the bulletin boards between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m. on Nov. 18. The conference will begin promptly at 8:00 and posters should remain up throughout the day. Please see the agenda online.

ATTENDEE REGISTRATION

Conference registration is required to participate in the poster session and is SEPARATE from the poster registration below. The discounted registration fee for students and faculty includes access to the poster session, keynotes, breakout sessions, lunch and happy hour. Net proceeds from the conference support student-led renewable energy projects at the University of Minnesota. Register for the conference.
