Hennepin County Environmental Services recently was chosen by the Humphrey School for a Capstone Project to evaluate the strategies for increasing commercial recycling and organics diversion. The results of the project were presented on August 2, 2012 to Hennepin County staff. A researcher from the School of Nursing is evaluating a Hennepin County program (Lead Peace) that targets at-risk middle school students and serves to promote high school graduation, school connectedness, and community service. For more information on this collaboration click here.

 

Hennepin County Environmental Services worked in collaboration with the School of Public Health to design new ways to encourage compliance with protocols that help to eliminate the spread of invasive species.
