The CYFC provides coordination and coherence to University-wide efforts on children, youth and family issues. They have a searchable experts database and a large amount of online research and resources.
Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare
Practice Notes is intended as a reference for practitioners, linking research with best practices. Practice Notes is produced once per semester.
Konopka Institute for Best Practices in Adolescent Health
"Best Bets" Policy Briefs are concise presentations of research findings on issues of critical concern to those who make or shape policies and programs.
Institute on Community Integration
The Institute is a federally designated University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) and produces a wide range of publications and electronic media resources for service providers, educators, policymakers, advocacy and resource organizations, researchers, families, persons with disabilities, and others.
A resource outside of the University dedicated to providing quality evidence-based information about what works to improve the lives of children, youth, and families.
Education
This 2005 annotated bibliography identifies publications and resources that may be of use to those in the field of developmental education and learning assistance.
U of M Extension provides research-based support to those involved in the creation and implementation of field days. They have put together an extensive guidebook, customized workshops, and other tools to assist in designing field days using best practices.
