HUP Planning Session
From these 15 policy areas, the following were chosen:
- Development of Human Capital through Educational Attainment
- Child Well-Being (Focus on Vulnerable Youth)
- Building Healthy Communities
- Understanding the Impact of an Aging Population
In turn, the HUP is now charged with the task of convening partners from Hennepin County and the University to examine the policy areas and decide on next steps. These teams will also assess funding needs and potential resources for funding. The initial meetings will take place over summer 2009, and recommendations and action steps will be proposed for fall 2009.
