European Master's Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation 2001/2002 Program

The European Master's Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation seeks candidates for its 2001/2002 program. This unique program was established in 1997 through the joint efforts of 15 partner European universities, with the support of the European Union, the Municipality of Venice and the Region of Veneto. It enjoys the sponsorship of UNESCO and the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, and it benefits from the co-operation of the Council of Europe, the Organization for the Security and Co-operation in Europe and other international organizations. This post-graduate degree offers qualified candidates an excellent opportunity to learn about human rights and democratization both from an operational and a policy-oriented point of view. The Venice-based European MA Programme counts among its students representatives from Russia as well as other countries from Eastern Europe.

THE DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS MARCH 15, 2001.
