Results of the blood smear exam were:

RBC morphology:
Normocytic, normochromic

WBC morphology:
The abnormal cells are small to medium-sized blasts. They have a relatively fine chromatin pattern, one or more indistinct nucleoli, and scanty basophilic cytoplasm. Occasional cells show nuclear clefts.

PLT morphology:
Within normal limits
