Degree posting on non-converted records

A workaround procedure has been established that will allow OTR staff to post degrees for students whose records have not been converted into PeopleSoft. Colleges should continue forwarding degree clearances to OTR, who will then post the degree information as a transcript memo on the student's record. Once conversion has taken place degrees will be posted (correctly) as a Program Completion and the transcript memo will be removed.

Historical Record changes

Students with UC coursework and/or those in College of Education Masters programs will not be converted until mid-March. Prior to the conversion, grade changes, memos, etc. will not be entered. OTR can issue a letter confirming an update, but cannot enter the changes until historical coursework is converted into PeopleSoft.

Conversion

Due to the complex procedure needed to manually convert a student record from SDB to PeopleSoft, OTR will no longer be processing manual conversion requests. This means that historical coursework will wait to be converted programmatically in mid-February or early March.

Transfer Credit/Cumulative Statistics problem

A problem has been identified that may be causing transfer credit to appear incorrectly on some student records. The issue is being worked on and is expected to be resolved soon.
